We have noticed that there some sites on the web claiming that they can provide winning numbers. Some of these sites even guarantee that you will win. 

Nobody can guarantee that you will win the lottery. If they could, would they tell you about it? Of course not, they would go and win it themselves.

Why hype cannot be right

Lotteries are organized such that any combination of numbers has an equal chance of winning. Lottery organizers go to great lengths to make this happen. The numbers are selected at random and are impossible to predict in advance.

Some people set a lot of store in studying which numbers have occurred least and then conclude that these numbers are in some way "due", hence more likely to come up. This is not correct. Ask any qualified statistician.
